Lauren M. Smith

Actress, Singer, Dancer

Lauren M. Smith is a dedicated stage performer, primarily in musical theatre. As part of the inaugrual class of the Chadwick A. Boseman College of Fine Arts, she received her diploma from celebrated actress and performer, Phylicia Rashad, in 2022, and has been pursuing her passion ever since. Lauren has performed in shows such as Death of A King’s Horseman (Shakespeare Theater Company), Dreamgirls (White Plains Performing Arts Center), and Howard University productions, Pippin and Urinetown in featured dancer roles.

As a dancer, Lauren has taught clases at the esteemed Millennium Dance Complex in Nashville, Tennessee, covering styles like musical theater, hip-hop, and heels. She has also trained in many different styles, including African, tap, jazz, and modern.

Lauren has recently relocated to the New York City area and is excited to continue her work by sharing stories of all kinds through movement, song, and dance.
